In 1970 Dan Leo and Jill Luigs went to the same high school together and never spoke a single word to each other. Then in 2010 thanks to Facebook, they connected, communicated, and finally communed together. Crazy as it sounds Jill took the train across the United States to move in with Dan after seeing him for only two hours the previous summer.

And now they create together all the live long day. If you think the items they have listed for sale look absolutely yummy, wait until you feel them. They are truly made with love for each other and love for what they do. Dan does all the dyeing, and Jill does all the stitching. The designs of the items made are pretty much a joint venture, so take a look at what they have and feel free to contact them with any questions or comments.

Their materials are repurposed, reused, recycled, upcycled, etc. so you can feel especially good about having a piece from Dyed Stitches. Also, check out the Facebook page, Dyed Stitches, to see what they're currently working on.
